Ever notice how the more you chase something, the further it seems to run? You want love? You want purpose? You want money? You want alignment? And you try so hard to get it, that it somehow keeps slipping through your fingers like sand laced with sarcasm.

You journal. You visualize. You affirm. You cry into your crystals. You hit play on that same Bob Proctor video for the 117th time. And still—crickets. Nothing. Nada.

Welcome to the Pain Game. A loop. A chase. A mental and emotional maze where the more you want, the more you're reminded of what you lack. But this blog isn’t just about the game.

It’s about the Purpose Arena—the moment you stop playing small, stop reacting in resistance, and step into the expansive, conscious, and aligned space where you get to show up as your fullest self.

Because while a game can be clever, cyclical, and even addictive… an arena is limitless. It’s where your power has room to breathe, stretch, and expand beyond old patterns. The Pain Game, on the other hand, is like an emotional hide-and-seek match we all unconsciously sign up for. The rules? Want something so badly that you energetically tell the Universe, "I don’t have it, I don’t believe I’ll get it, and also—I’m kind of mad about it.

Resistance: The Ultimate Block Button

This is the trap of resistance. It's subtle. Sneaky. Dressed up as hustle, perfectionism, and "doing the work." But really, it’s fear in disguise. Resistance is like yelling into a canyon and expecting a butterfly to come land on your shoulder. The more force you use, the less likely you are to receive anything.

Think of resistance like trying to fill your cup while holding a lid on it. All your blessings are ready to pour in, but there's no space. You’re gripping too tightly. You’re too busy proving, defending, justifying, or judging to actually allow.

We think resistance is noble because it looks like effort. But more often than not, it’s us saying: “I don’t trust. I don’t believe. I don’t feel safe to receive.”

When we resist what is, when we judge our current circumstances, when we whine about not being "there" yet—we block what’s trying to arrive. We tell the Universe we’re unavailable. We turn down the volume on our guidance system. We tighten up our energy so much, nothing can flow.

You must let go. Letting go isn’t giving up. It’s giving in—to flow, alignment, and the version of you that’s already whole.

You must surrender. Surrendering isn’t defeat—it’s devotion to a greater truth than fear. It’s choosing to believe that the Divine knows what it's doing even when we don’t have the full picture.

Because here’s the sneaky truth: You can’t receive from a place of resistance. You can only receive from a place of surrender.

The Pattern That Never Works (But We Keep Doing It Anyway)

So here’s how the Pain Game works:

  1. You decide you want something: purpose, love, peace, clarity, success.

  2. You become obsessed with the fact that you don’t have it.

  3. You hustle. You control. You panic. You overthink.

  4. It doesn’t show up. (Big Shocker!)

  5. You conclude something is wrong with you, or the world, or your manifestation process.

  6. You spiral. And repeat.

Let me tell you—I've been there. For two whole years, I felt like I wasn’t receiving messages from the divine the way I used to. The clarity I once had felt foggy. My meditations became frustrating. My mind would wander no matter what I tried—guided, silent, movement, breathwork—you name it. I felt blocked. Stuck. Shut out.

Well… yes and no. My belief system created the block. The more I believed I was blocked, the more I reinforced that reality. Until one day, I connected with one of my guides. And he said something I’ll never forget: "You are being blocked to propel forward."

In that moment, something inside me said, okay. I accepted it. Maybe I wouldn’t access my gifts in the exact way I wanted—but I trusted I would, in time. I let go. I surrendered. I gave up trying. I stopped forcing. And that night… my abilities started trickling back in. I stopped playing the Pain Game and stepped into the Purpose Arena.

Until... one day, you do something radical. You give up. Not in the hopeless way. But in the liberated, I-don’t-care-anymore-let’s-see-what-happens way. You drop the baggage. The expectation. The desperation.

And suddenly… ✨ Everything. Starts. Flowing. ✨ Because in that moment, you stopped playing the Pain Game—and stepped into the Purpose Aren, where expansion, alignment, and self-trust begin

What If You’re Not Broken, Just Distracted From Your Purpose?

Here’s the mic-drop truth: Most of us are stuck not because we lack purpose, but because we’re too distracted by pain to see it.

We’re resisting our lives so much that we’re blinded to what’s actually working.

We think if something comes easy, it can’t possibly be valuable. So we chase what feels hard, painful, and elusive—mistaking effort for evidence of worth.

But what if the thing that feels easiest is actually the biggest clue to your purpose?

Your Purpose Probably Feels So Obvious You’ve Ignored It

Let me tell you a little story. I used to think thought-organization was too easy. I dismissed it. I thought I needed to learn some other high-powered, skill-based, elite-level talent. I thought I needed to struggle for it to mean something. But the truth? Organizing chaos is my superpower.

Even though chaos makes me want to scream and cry and eat gluten (shout out to croissants-I will always love you), it also feeds my soul. It gives me a puzzle to solve. And every time I bring order to a mess—whether in project management or in someone’s spiritual breakdown—I feel alive.

So I stopped resisting. I stopped denying it. I stopped playing the Pain Game. And guess what? Everything opened up.

Weirdos, Misfits & Purpose Alchemists — This Part’s for You

If you’ve ever thought to yourself, "Why do I weirdly like this thing that drives everyone else crazy?"—hello, hi, welcome. You’re in good company.

The part of you that enjoys the chaos, that gets lost in the flow, that loses track of time when you’re doing that one thing—that’s not random. That’s your soul breadcrumbing you back to your purpose.

And yes, sometimes that purpose shows up in a way that gives you a headache or makes you want to nap for 12 hours. But it also brings a kind of deep satisfaction that can’t be faked.

The Purpose Game: Letting It Be Easy

Let’s flip the script. What if, instead of struggling, resisting, and striving... you let it be easy That’s what it means to step into the Purpose Arena.

  • If it feels good to do, do more of it.

  • If it’s easy to learn, lean into it.

  • If it comes naturally, trust it.

Because here’s the truth no one tells you: The ease is the evidence.

The 80/20 Rule of Purpose

Your purpose will feel 80% aligned, effortless, and joy-fueled—the kind of thing that makes you lose track of time and feel like your soul is humming.

And then there's the other 20%... the part that kind of sucks. The tech glitches, the awkward growth spurts, the sleepless nights, and the doubts that crawl in at 2 a.m. But guess what?

That 20% is where the refinement happens. It keeps you on your toes. It stretches you. It brings out hidden strengths you didn’t know you had. It helps you evolve beyond what you thought you could handle. It gives you fresh new perspectives you haven't previously considered. And sometimes—it just keeps things interesting enough that you don’t fall asleep at the wheel of your own life.

Purpose isn’t about perfection. It’s about devotion. Devotion to showing up even when it’s messy, inconvenient, or confusing. Devotion to becoming more of yourself through the process. So don’t throw away your purpose just because 20% of it feels like chaos, unfamiliar, or inconvenient. That 20% is your invitation to grow. And that 80%? That’s your fire. Your fuel. Your sign that you're exactly where you're meant to be.

Maybe You’ve Been in the Pain Game Without Knowing It

If this is your first time hearing about the Pain Game and the Purpose Arena, that’s okay. Most of us start out playing the Pain Game without even knowing it. We call it being "realistic." We call it "being responsible." We dress it up as "tough love." But underneath those masks? It's resistance, fear and control disguised as productivity.

You might not even realize you’re in the Pain Game because it feels so normal. It’s the mindset of hustle culture. Of doing more, proving more, pushing more. Of healing every shadow before you're "allowed" to experience joy. We mistake pain for growth—forgetting that growth can also come through grace, ease, and aligned action.

The Pain Game rewards you with temporary distractions: busyness, external validation, or the illusion of control. But it never offers the real satisfaction—the soul-level fulfillment—that comes with living in your purpose.

So if things have felt stuck or off lately... if you're spinning your wheels but going nowhere... this might be your wake-up call.

You now get to consciously choose. Will you keep playing the Pain Game? Or will you step into the Purpose Arena—where your genius isn’t just tolerated, it’s celebrated?

You Have a Choice Now

There’s nothing wrong with you. You’re not broken. You’re not behind. You’re simply in the process of remembering. Your resistance was never a punishment—it was a signal. A message from your soul asking, "Are you ready to stop surviving and start thriving?"

You don’t have to earn your purpose through suffering. You don’t have to wait until you're perfect. You simply have to choose—to show up, to trust the path, and to take one aligned step at a time.

So here’s your permission slip: Let go. Let it be easy. Step into the arena of who you really are. Follow the clues. Live the questions. Trust the process.

Because when you stop pushing and start allowing, you don’t just find your purpose—you become it. And that’s when the magic really begins—and the universe starts peacocking for no one other than you! It struts, it sparkles, it shows off in full color, orchestrating synchronicities and blessings so tailored you can’t help but laugh and say, “Okay, I get it now.”
